IMWITOR® 600 is an ester from polyglycerin and plant derived condensed castor oil fatty acids.

APPLICATION
IMWITOR® 600 is a yellow-brownish waterfree oil. Its appearance and consistency is similar to honey (viscosity at 60°C: approx. 200 – 500 mPas). Its odor is light and typically oily; its taste is neutral.
IMWITOR® 600 is soluble in acetone, n-hexane, fatty oils and polar oils like MIGLYOL® 812. It becomes turbid in white mineral oil and cold ethanol and is insoluble in water.
IMWTOR® 600 is a non-ionic, PEG-free W/O emulsifier, with an average molecular weight of > 3000 g/mol. IMWTOR® 600 is free from any stabilizers and antioxidants.
COSMETIC FUNCTIONS
IMWITOR® 600 is suitable for all kinds of W/O emulsions, especially suitable for soft to low-viscosity W/O emulsions with non grease, pleasant skin feel. A cold and hot/cold emulsification is possible. In contrast to many other W/O emulsifiers IMWITOR® 600 allows low consistencies without stability problems.
IMWITOR® 600 gives cosmetic formulations a soft and pleasant skin feel.

1. Heat phase A and B separately at approx. 75°–80° C.
2. Add B to A with high speed stirring, homogenize and cool down to approx. 40°C while gently stirring Homogenize with lowest speed for a short time. Cool down to approx. 20°C while gently stirring.
3. Add phase C.

1. Heat A to approx. 75–80°C and B to approx. 35–40°C.
2. Add B to A with homogenization (highest speed) for 1 Min. 30 s.
3. Homogenize at lowest speed for 1 Min. 30 s. and add C.
