Product Description:
CremerCOOR® DO is a monoester made of decyl alcohol and oleic acid. Both components are of vegetable origin. A non-oily character and excellent compatibility make it the right choice for a wide range of personal care and cosmetic applications.

APPLICATIONS
CremerCOOR® DO is an oil component with medium polarity and a fast spreading capability. It can be easily incorporated in emulsion formulations by simply adding it to the oil phase in hot or cold processes. The pH value of the final formulation should range between pH 5 and 7.
COSMETIC FUNCTIONS
CremerCOOR® DO acts as an emollient and leaves a light, non-oily smooth and velvet skin sensation. Due to its similar structure to skin lipids it supports the barrier function of the skin. It reduces the tackiness of formulations containing heavy oils.

Procedure
1. Mix Phase A and heat up to 75°C. At 75°C add SymDiol® 68T to the mixture. Adjust the pH-value to 5.5.
2. Mix Phase B and heat up to 75°C. Emulsify Phase B slowly to Phase A under stirring. Start to cool down under medium stirring.
3. Add Phase C below 40°C under stirring and cool down to room temperature.
