SUBJECT: Update on Recent Tariff Announcement Impact
Dear CREMER Customer,
On behalf of CREMER North America, we would like to provide you with an update regarding the recent tariff announcement and its potential impact on our business relationship.
As part of our sourcing strategy, CREMER North America imports oleochemicals from several countries outside the United States, some of which are now affected by the tariffs announced by the U.S. on April 2, 2025. Additionally, we source products produced in the U.S. that may use feedstocks subject to these tariffs.
At CREMER, we remain committed to supplying you with the high-quality products, from the strongest producers globally, which you’ve come to expect, and we will continue to prioritize the reliability of our supply. At the same time, we wish to be transparent that, like many in the industry, we are not immune to the effects of these new tariffs.
We are carefully evaluating how these changes may impact our shared business and will work with you to adjust our commercial agreements as needed to reflect on any tariff-related cost changes, ensuring continued supply.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership and understanding. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your Account Manager.
Best regards,
Bill Fluharty
